Victor Maldonado has a beautiful exhibition up at Froelick, all green paintings. From what I understand, this installation is comprised of panels in size of all the TV screens he has ever lived with. Maldonado addresses cross cultural identity and traffic via the monochrome. I am looking forward to having him on Art Focus this coming Tuesday.

I loved talking about idea vs beauty, what painting means as regards class - and wished we had had time to get into it further.
